Ceremony

Once you arrive please walk down the main road past the visitor center towards the campsite entrance, you will see a sign on your right about 100 feet past the visitor’s center for the ceremony

This location is a 1 hour drive north of Arcata, there also is no cell service in the area so please plan accordingly

Parking is limited at the visitor’s center and it is elk watching season in the clearing so you may need to park along Newton B Drury Parkway and walk a short distance to the amphitheater shown in the map below

After the ceremony we highly encourage you to take a scenic drive north through Prairie Creek State Park and take in the beauty and majesty of the towering redwoods

Since there will be a break between the ceremony and reception, we wanted to suggest a nearby spot where guests can gather, relax, and grab a drink if they’d like. Please note that this is an optional, self-hosted stop, so guests will be responsible for their own tabs. We’ll see everyone later at the reception for an open bar!

We will have cocktails, hor d'oeuvres, dinner, dancing and karaoke. Please come celebrate with us. The reception will run until midnight and then we will see where the night takes us after that!
